Welcome to Bobbie's Applique website. Bobbie creates Applique designs using the beauty of nature. After many years dabbling in different art mediums, Bobbie has finally been drawn back to her family's tradition of quilting. She started quilting seriously in 1993, and after retirement in 2003, she went into it professionally. It all started with a request to design California Poppies for a Quilt Guild opportunity quilt. This was successful and led to publishing her first pattern. She decided that designing applique patterns was something she could do after retirement. She also teaches and lectures for quilt guilds. After twenty years in the education field, teaching just comes naturally.
